The Bible Study meets every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Gail and Miles Smith’s home.  The group usually starts with refreshments and the sharing of joys and concerns.  Gail loves to bake, so there are often some really tasty goodies.  After the opening prayer, the group reads and discusses chapters in the Bible.  

The group goes at a relatively slow pace to make sure that members are able to really think about what God is trying to teach.  The group concentrates on studying the Bible itself rather than books about the Bible or topics concerning religion, and ends each session with prayer.  Leadership is on a voluntary basis from among members of the group.
